The ACT Community Services Safety Pack is written for management committee members, managers, directors and supervisors of community service organisations and members of health and safety committees. The contents of this document may be useful to use in training with your staff and volunteers and may also be used as a guide in developing your organisation’s health and safety policies and procedures.
This guide has been designed specifically for the ACT's Community Sector. While largely sourced from the NSW WorkCover publication of the same name and Worksafe Victoria's Working Safely in the Community Sector, this publication has been modified to suit the ACT's own health and safety requirements. It provides practical guidance to community sector organisations seeking to manage health and safety risks in their workplaces.
